Violence is regarded as both historical and global phenomenon appearing in any societies during the centuries. Sine 1970, it was brought under attention and different research was done, but there are a lot of barriers ahead in investigating violence closely. In this research the researcher has entered into private family territory to ask them some effective questions. For no clear veasons, the victims hide the existence of violence among family members, or it may be forgotten or overstated. Lack of statistical information or different interpretations are among other obstacles. Most of attitudes toward violence consider it in individuals characteristics or at family level. Most feminist theorists find these kinds of interpretations inadequate and believe there are so much far that they can intensify the violence they put on emphasis on inequity available in society and social organizations among men and women. They pay much attention to men alominants over women and according to this viewpoint, violence is not considered as an interpersonal interaction, but it is more a group interaction. Violence is called a supervisory equipment and even a ruling one that reflects the inequity in relations between men and women. Considering all the research done in Iran, the wrong data and misunderstandings will be revealed. Even in most studies, the variables are suggested as individual or family ones. This article, loringing the feminist viewpoints into account, tries to show up some inequal structures in society such as economic, laws, supervisory forces and supporting organizations, and finally it emphasizes on this fact that a man based society encourages men to do violence against women and in return women have suffer this condition in silence.
