Introduction: One of the most serious social anarchies is domestic violence against women, which can lead to serious physical, psychological and social injuries. The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the mediating role of men's resilience in the relationship between domestic violence against women and men's psychological flexibility.
Metods: The current research was descriptive of the correlation type. The statistical population of the married women of Varzaneh was 3958 people in 1400-1401. The sample size was considered to be 230 people of view with random cluster sampling. The data was collected using the questionnaires of domestic violence against women Tabrizi et al. (2011), Bund and colleagues psychological flexibility (2011) and Friberg et al. resilience (2003) and based on structural equations with SPSS-23and Amos-24 software were analyzed.
Findings: The results showed that psychological flexibility and resilience negatively predict domestic violence against women. There was a significant positive relationship between psychological flexibility and resilience. Also, the full mediation model had a better fit than the indirect model, that is, resilience was able to reduce the relationship between psychological flexibility and violence against women. Conclusion: Strengthening the psychological flexibility and resilience of spouses has positive effects to reduce domestic violence against women.
