Extended Abstract
Introduction
Today, the severity of the personal, social and family effects of domestic violence against children is a problem for millions of children and families and its wide-ranging effects on public opinion show the necessity of comprehensive investigation as a priority. According to the definition of the World Health Organization, child abuse is a damage or threat to the physical and mental health, happiness, and well-being of a child at the hands of parents or people who are responsible for him and exists in four categories: psychological, physical, sexual, indulgence and neglect against children. Child abuse is defined as doing any act against a child or condoning it that leads to significant physical and mental harm or causes serious harm to the child. According to published statistics, the amount of destructive and criminal acts against children and adolescents is increasing all over the world.
Ignorance of families, illiteracy and weakness in child rearing, social isolation and following the example of other fathers and mothers increase the grounds for family tensions and this causes child abuse. In the economic field, factors such as unemployment, which is very high in this province, and the economic problems of families provide grounds for employing children in various jobs (child labor) or sexual and physical exploitation, which is also an example of child abuse.
Lifestyle shows a person’s interactions in his living environment; therefore, it should be acknowledged that one of the most important dimensions of human life, which has a decisive role to advance goals and cure existing problems from the beginning of human social life, is lifestyle. Child abuse is a social and human phenomenon, and it is as old as the formation of societies and even before that, it coincides with the creation of man, which has existed in all human societies.
Considering that no research has been done on the relationship between health-based lifestyle and the occurrence of child abuse in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province in 2021, the present research aims to investigate the relationship between lifestyle, health, and the occurrence of violence against children in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province. Therefore, the current research is innovative in terms of the subject of investigation in the year 2021.

Method
From the point of view of ontology and epistemology, the present research is placed in the category of positivist and meta-positivist paradigms, and accordingly, a quantitative approach for analogical reasoning was used to solve the problem. By using the publish or perish software and mastering the skills and professional strategies of searching in citation databases and search engines, an intelligent search based on the initial idea and key items was conducted and more than 300 scientific documents such as dissertations, research papers and conference articles, and related books were collected and used as the theoretical background of the research. Then the researcher considered the descriptive strategy in order to examine how the existing situation is as a road map that Bryant 2017 considers to be an original research. In order to test the hypotheses as the goals of this research, we used short-term moves and tactics in the heart of this strategy (Moradi & Miralmasi, 2020). The current research was carried out in Shahrekord city in 2021 in terms of spatial and temporal territory and the unit of analysis was Fred. The statistical population included the parents who had children aged 0-18 and had reports of child abuse in the welfare and forensic medicine centers of Shahrekord city. Based on this, a sample of 100 parents was selected using available sampling method and they were questioned, after discarding the distorted items, 97 items were found to be valid. Subjects’ information from completing the LSQ lifestyle questionnaire (dimensions including: health, exercise and wellness, weight control and nutrition, spiritual health, psychological health, social health, avoiding drugs and medicine) and to check the incidence of child abuse from the standard child abuse questionnaire of Mohammad Khani (1998) was used, which was answered with degrees of never, sometimes, most of the time and always.
Findings
The results of the study showed that the extent of child abuse decreases with the increase of lifestyle indicators and the optimization of lifestyle and health. An acceptable correlation coefficient was observed between lifestyle sub-indices and examples, which indicated the existence of a negative and inverse relationship between lifestyle indicators and examples of child abuse. (p < 0.01), meaning that child abuse decreases with an increase in the average health-based lifestyle indicators. The highest correlation coefficient was observed between psychological health and emotional child abuse (R = -0.679 **). This finding indicates that parents with psychological problems hurt their children more emotionally. The obtained correlation matrix confirmed the presence of an inverse and significant relationship between social health and physical child abuse (r =-0.673**).
The R-square value is the value of the coefficient of determination, which is equal to 0.579; that is, the lifestyle variable can explain 57.9% of the variance of the child abuse variable. Regression analysis showed that the type of relationship between two variables is direct and inverse. In other words, by increasing lifestyle indicators and optimizing lifestyle and health, the extent of child abuse decreases. Social health also explains the significant variance of types of child abuse (physical, sexual, neglect, malnutrition, emotional) in Shahrekord city. The coefficient of determination was equal to 0.659, which can express 65.9% of the variance of the lifestyle variable
Discussion
The present study showed that the phenomenon of child abuse is influenced by family lifestyle and if the lifestyle is improved, child abuse will be reduced or moderated; in addition, the coefficient of determination shows that the influence of the relevant components is moderate to strong. By increasing the lifestyle indicators and optimizing the way of life and health, the amount of child abuse will decrease. The findings of the research indicate that the health-based lifestyle is a suitable predictor for the occurrence of child abuse in Shahrekord city. The results are in line with the research conducted inside and outside the country. The obtained correlation coefficients show the highest correlation coefficient between psychological health, social health and avoiding drugs and narcotics with the occurrence of child abuse. The highest coefficient obtained was related to psychological health, which indicates the greatest impact on the occurrence of child abuse. The present results are in line with the results of Sayrs et al. (2020), Carr et al. (2020), Sprague et al. (2017). Because of their lifelong relationships with families, caregivers are uniquely positioned to prevent child abuse and neglect. Child caregivers and doctors can help prevent child abuse and neglect by promoting safe and stable relationships (Moon et al., 2020). Violence is related to learned patterns in culture. Moral contemplations of the research included secrecy and obtaining informed assent from individuals.

Ethical considerations
Ethical considerations of the research include ensuring that the information obtained from the subjects remains confidential (privacy and confidentiality). The researcher morally respects every person involved in the research process and avoids discrimination. In this research, mean, standard deviation and regression and correlation methods were used in the inferential statistics section to describe the obtained data.
