Abstract

The aim of the present paper is to provide a theoretical framework for analyzing an interaction between two kinds of teachers’ economic and political responses to job dissatisfaction. The basic hypothesis here is as follows: Teachers’ job dissatisfaction generates the pressure of economic demands among them, which will be channeled into individual economic action in their everyday economic life or the collective act of communicating their grievances to the authorities in the political scene the more pressure escapes through individual actions in everyday economic life, the less is available to foment the collective action in the political scene, and vice versa.

Abstract

Objective: Most researches carried out in the field of Social Capital have weighed each of the variables of social capital with various measuring models (especially trust and social networks) neglecting the inter relation of the forming variable and consequently, have introduced the degree of each of the forming variables as the total measure of Social Capital itself. In this paper, effort has been put into describing the current measuring methods and outlining the criticisms applied to each of them. Method: The main focus of the article is on the assessment of the synergic interaction among the forming variables of social capital as a totality. Therefore, correlation of forming variables is the research method used. Findings: With regard to the complex relationship between the forming variables of social capital, complexity has been used as the major appropriate model. In this models with a functional definition basis and statement of the reciprocal and non-reduction relation between the variables, social capital has formed a complex function. Thus, estimating the phase space of each variable of the social capital and solving the partial differentiation equations system are introduced as the useful and efficient tools of evaluating Social Capital function. Resault: Exploiting the complexity mathematics is suggested to be the suitable method for measuring Social Capital.

Abstract

Theoretical frame: this study was evaluated and perused the performance of exit control center (ECC) from Khuzestan prisons to create and occupation for female prisoners; and so prevention of their recidivism since 2006.

Research method; 124 freewomen dossiers since this year were considered with exploration-description method and interview with them. All service of exit control center (ECC) for these women were evaluated. ECC is similar to bridge between necessitous prisoners and outdoor society with financial and convenience services for adaptation of them to new changes. It grants the loan less dividend and gratuitously with perused of familiar record of necessitous prisoners before and after freedom; and so compotation of their present situation, effect of imprisonment on prisoners and their family.

Results; first statistical data showed %48 of freewomen were used ECC services; %52 were less literacy; %42 have technical-art certificates; %64 are addiction and theft delinquents; the rate of employee is %62. Age median is 34 and %72 of them was married. Statistical test of hypothesis with independent t test showed there is positive and significant relation between age, literacy and marriage to employee rate. But it isn't significant to kind of crimes. Index of female recidivism was %3.4 and so between age, literacy and marriage with this index observed no significant and negative relation.

Discussion; Data was showed with increase of literacy, age and so with their marriage; benefit of ECC service was more effective. Less effect of ECC services was on prisoners with no literacy, unmarriageable and chastity crimes. Finally, survey occupied to development and growth of technical-art certificates between female prisoners because it has high significant relation to prevention of recidivism.

Abstract

Objective: we measured concept of bridging social capital by a new tool . All items used in the scale are in agreement with the theoretical literature on this concept. Method: The research method was survey. The sample population was 376 students of Isfahan university which were sampled through cluster sampling of multiple stages. After making a list and confirming the validity of questions by professors of social work and sociology, its reliability was confirmed through cronbach alpha coefficient. Findings: Bridging social capital must be measured in three different dimensions: Different Interests, Different Lifestyle , and outgroups. Results: Our scale is not only highly reliable, but also valid.
