municipality performance and citizenship commitments and sense of social
belonging in the neighborhood and also identifying the mediating mechanisms.

gather information. The statistical population in this study is Tehran citizens who are over 18 years old and live in the
10 district of Tehran.
Regarding the research facilities and limitations, 150 people were selected as
the sample and 15 people were assigned to each neighborhood using stratified
sampling. SPSS and LISREL were used for data analysis.

Multiple regression was used for data analysis. Findings showed that there is a
positive and significant relationship between municipality performance and
citizenship commitments and sense of social belonging which may increases
informal social control and reduces local deviation in the urban neighborhoods.
