Introduction: Marriage and family forms are among the issues that in most societies are affected by social, economic, and cultural changes as well as other conditions governing society. There is no doubt that new social changes have made new conditions for marriage, causing a clear distinction between styles and types of marriage in a traditional and modern society. Temporary marriage, despite its religious and legal legitimacy, is a challenging social issue. However, a number of women with temporary marriage due to the specific circumstances that they are facing, have many problems. Although the women with temporary marriage experiences together with their children face many problem,  there is not sufficient information about the different aspects of their lives. Hiding and tabooing this style of marriage can have a variety of effects on the health of these types of families, especially women. In fact, the various aspects of the women’s health, including physical, mental, and social ones, can be heavily influenced by this type of marriage.
The Review of the few related studies carried out in this area revealed the followings :
1) Not applying  formal sexual education
2) High likelihood of transmission of HIV/AIDS
3) The incidence of sexually transmitted diseases
4) The high probability of abortion and its effects
5) The experience of sexual violence
6) The phenomenon of single mothers

Among other problems, it seems that women are more prevalent in this group.
In addition, in the social sphere, women who are temporarily married may have some problems, such as: legal and social problems caused by the probable birth of children, emotional problems caused by multiple and short-term marriages, the negative attitude of members of society towards women who are temporarily marrying, and the emergence of many problems in social relationships are among the issues that will highlight the importance of various studies, especially social work studies. (12)
One of the specialized groups that can be pathology of this type of marriage and extracting the direct experience of women with temporary marriage is social workers (15). in the first step, given the lack of knowledge in this field, it seems that the focus of social workers’ studies on the discovery of direct experiences of these individuals to be able to provide a clear understanding of the situation and conditions of their lives, provide the necessary fields for enhancing their health and reducing outcomes and potential problems.
The main purpose of this study is analyzing experiences and identifying individual, family, and social problems of women with temporary marriage history. As the literature review suggests, this research study can be regarded as one of the first studies of social work that investigates the concept of temporary marriage from women’s point of view.it can also be considered as a step towards providing specialized services to this group of women as one of the target groups of social work.
According to the review of related literature, in general, in addition to legal and religious studies in temporary marriage, two categories of studies have studied temporary marriage. The first category includes a large part of studies in the field of temporary marriage, which is to be investigated the attitude of different demographic and age groups, especially young people towards temporary marriage. But in spite of accepting the undeniable importance of this research, it seems that in these studies, the direct experience of temporary marriage on the part of women has not been specifically considered as the focus of this study.
However, few studies in the second category have been taken into concentration on the part of women, but there are also significant differences in the type of study and the method of data collection as well as the desired goals in the current research. Therefore, there is a need to conduct new study so as to assess the status of this group of women and use the results of the research in order to facilitate appropriate interventions of social work in order to reduce problems and improve personal, family, and social well - being of women with temporary marriage experience. It is also necessary for social workers to explore the life experiences of such women. The purpose of this study is to examine the experiences of women with a temporary marriage in the city of Qom.
Method: This study was conducted using qualitative method and based on the Conventional Content Analysis approach. The research data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 15 women with temporary marriage experience and four social workers associated with this group of women. The research sampling method was purposeful and data collection continued until saturation. The aspects related to the accuracy of the data were taken into account and data analysis was performed using coding and classification of the codes.
Findings: This study aimed to investigate the experiences of women with temporary marriage history. The research method of this study is qualitative and, using the semi-structured interview and conventional content analysis method, attempts were made to provide answers to the following there questions:
* What are the contributing factors in the tendency of women towards temporary marriage?
What are the personal/ family problems of women during the interim marriage?
* What are the social problems of women during the interim marriage?
728 codes were extracted from the interviews at several stages of the analysis and integration of similar codes in four main categories, which include 1) "Individual components", 2) "Family Factors", 3) "The harmful social environment", and 4) "Multiple social deviances", and 14 subcategories. The main theme of this research was "insecure privacy" that extracted from the mentioned classes.
Discussion: Women with temporary marriage experience are one of the hidden and hard-reaching target groups related to the field of social work, facing various problems in individual, family, and social life. It is necessary to pay attention to reducing the various problems of this group of women and increasing their quality of life at different levels, especially by social workers.
According to the findings of this study, one of the most important challenges of temporary marriage that leads to vulnerability of a large proportion of women involved with this type of marriage, is the lack of a well-documented law on marriage registration Temporary and how to follow these women's legal rights
Therefore, to prevent the violation of human rights and legal rights of these women and to avoid abuse of some people in the society, it is necessary to revise laws related to the temporary marriage and the recognition of these laws. In other words, since this type of marriage is not known, it is not possible to separate this group of women from other groups including prostitutes, so that if a temporary marriage is a kind of marriage we must have the right legal path in this regard.
It also seems that in the studied population, the majority of women who are temporarily marrying are from divorced and widowed women who face significant economic, familial, and social problems. Therefore, social workers and specialists are required in supportive centers, including the Welfare Organization, the specialized information is needed to analyze the main problems of these women and to carry out appropriate professional interventions in this field
There is no doubt observance of  the principle of accepting and gaining confidence in the group as well as the efforts of social workers to tackle discrimination and stigma in relation to these women will have a significant impact on the process of implementing programs and professional and educational interventions in this area.
Taking account of the fact that there have been few social studies on temporary marriage, there is a need for more research, in particular qualitative research in this area. By extracting some of the problems of this group of women through this study, it is suggested that, at the same time, mixed-method studies should be used to design appropriate specialist programs and interventions.
