The purpose of this paper is to introduce the applications of quantile regression in date analysis. The quantile regression shows the relationship between an arbitrary quantile of a response variable and some explanatory variables through a statistical model. In this paper, we define the model consider estimation method of its parameters. We also emphasize on how distribution shape of the response variable can be obtained by fitting different quantile regressions. Finally, welfare data are used to present the applications. These data are based on a sample of size 684 taken from 18 to 29 Y/O people in Tehran. Our findings show a positive relationship between expected welfare as the response variable and education statues as the explanatory variable.
